I saw the mess labour made in the 60s and 70s, there is a reason they have not won an election since 1974. Whatever you think of the Tories, real labour will be exponentially worse given the same crises that have befallen the nation and that anti Tories conveniently forget.

the last labour government (1997-2010) was better than this in my opinion and I do not agree with the view that they were tories... tories at the time did not think so and they did plenty that the tories would never have dreamed of

The "cheap as chips" sale of our oil/gas reserves by Mrs Thatcher to her pals in the oil companies dwarfed anything done by the Wilson/Callaghan governments - compare and contrast with the continuing prosperity of Norway who fed their profits into a sovereign wealth fund that still bankrolls them today ...
