Sunak has already said he plans to publish his tax return.
He is just waiting for a time when another big news story has everyone’s attention, and that will keep it off the front pages.
Royal baby, wedding or scandal, Gromit?
I don't expect anyone to publish their tax return it's a private thing, why would anyone be interested? The content would have been accepted by the IR so I don't get it. Will Gullomit publish there's?
Theirs!
He said he would release it before Christmas , then didn’t.
Then he said within his first 100 days in office, then didn’t.
Last week he said it would be released shortly.

Actually TTT I agree with you. No other PM has had to release their tax details.
It should be private. Except the family has previous form on avoidance/evasion.
Why should tax payments be kept private? Are workers' wages private? Are highly paid executives' salaries and bonuses private? One reads a lot about what 'workers' wages are, and what bankers earn. Why should their tax not also be in the open?
Avoidance is good, I admire anyone who can legally avoid tax, I do.
Hopefully just about on the thread enough not to be removed.

Adultery is good, I admire anyone who can legally commit adultery, I do.
:-)
Are we to believe that if a non Tory was to be found avoiding tac you wouldn't go off on one of your rants, Tora?

Perlease
Perhaps Sturgeon could explain at the same time where her, err, husband got £600,000 at the same time?
I’ve just realised your name backwards is I’m my fanny. Nice one.
doug, "Are we to believe that if a non Tory was to be found avoiding tac you wouldn't go off on one of your rants, Tora?

Perlease " - I would not as I said I've nothing against avoidance.
I expect everyone to avoid as much tax as they can, I know I do. If the government don't want it to be avoidable change the law, they are the government after all. Don't whine when someone legally avoids tax. Anyway this whole charade is nothing to do with tax evasion or avoidance. It's just so some journo's can pick through the data and blow everything out of proportion. I have no interest in either Sturgeon's or the PMs tax return. I trust that the IR have scrutinised them, that's good enough for me.
TTT,
Zahawi attempted avoidance, but actually did evasion according to HMRC.
It would be a tad embarrassing if a serving PM did the same thing. His reluctance to produce the paperwork is not exactly encouraging.

Sturgeon’s crass move is undoubtedly because many people smell a rat.

he may try to obscure it by publishing it on the same sad day as Gromit emigrates
