OK Labour oppose any attempts. The Trobiscites and 5C wreck anything we do manage. So I want Ideas from you lot. Instead of deriding all efforts what do YOU suggest? what are your Ideas? .....
Remove the incentives that draw them here. This would include ALL payments, accommodation free phones etc. They are illegal entrants and entitled to nothing. If they land on our shores they must immediately be returned either to the last country they left, their country of origin, or a country that has agreed to take them, such as Rwanda. If the Government...
Here is a thought - maybe is is because we are now outside the EU that makes us a more desirable destination? That would be ironic.
In 2016, May was Home Secretary, and we were closely working with the French and EU, and no one attempted illegally entering the UK illegally by boat.
Since we left the EU, we get tens of thousands of illegals coming here by boat.
Which shows either that's how much the EU cares about their responsibility to the migrants and neighbouring nations now they have the hump with an ex-member, or, we need May as Home Secretary as she'll give 'em all 'what for'.
Everybody now living in the world (save Africans) is either an immigrant or a descendant of immigrants, so maybe we need a few rational thoughts before implying we should play Lady Bountiful to all the world's chancers.
If the government actually did what they keep saying they’re going to do and send them straight to Rwanda, they would only need to send the first couple of boat loads and they’d stop coming. If those people KNEW that the moment they set foot on our shores they would be loaded on to a plane and flown to Africa, this is the last place they’d want to come to.
@16.36.You prefer to give them £10 a day for doing sfa.Meanwhile my company would love to employ these"illegals".All the"illegals"i meet in Aberdeen say they are not here to rip us Brits off, they want to work, they want to make a meaningful future ,for all of us.

If the Government had the will to do it, it could be done.
If you are prepared to pay a large sum to risk your life being carried across the channel crammed into a small boat, are you prepared to take your chances of not being among the tiny numbers who realistically can be packed of to Rwanda?
So what is that humane, moral approach, fiveleaves - or maggiebee - and just how many incomers do you want to share this particular bit of the planet with? One million, 10 million, 50 million? There are over 1 billion people in Africa and quite a lot of them would love to share this bit of the planet.
@17.14.No laughing matter, bob. At present we are paying these immigrants £10 a day for doing nothing apart from walking up and down our streets.Meanwhile companies such as mine are nearly closing down because we cant get enough staff.
There is an immigrant outside Lidl selling the big issue. I have spoke to him, he is 25 years old and has a Law degree. He is not allowed to work in the uk until his paperwork is processed. He’s been here 2 years. These immigrants are not animals they are someone’s sons and daughters, some a lot more educated than the quasi facists who want to send them all back home.
The historical figures are all over the internet.
If you have alternates data, I would be happy to see it.
Immigration (both legal and illegal) has increase massively under to Tories who promised to get the figure down to the tens of thousands, and who have failed in that endeavour for 13 years. A bo]it embarrassing really.
It’s not just about governments, gromit. It’s about recent global events too - and not forgetting the expansion of Schengen - something that some countries, because of the unrestricted access it allows - are now regretting.
