or at least being economical with the truth. Mr Farage's account was closed for political reasons and the views Mr Farage hold do not align with Coutt's. Going under the financial threshold had little to do with their decision. I hope he takes them to court as a result of unproved malicious allegations and slurs made against him.

Thoughts of horses, water, come to mind,
^^^
She’s going to look stupid once the full facts are known.
No idea who your 'financial expert' is, hymie, but yes, she/he is wrong. Read the bank's words.
In all the nonsense people are posting about this, the bank has apologised for the way his account was closed – but not that it was false that his account failed to meet the financial criteria to have an account with them; which is what the financial expert said was in their report (and the reason the account was closed).

So unless someone can post definitively that the bank admits that their report was false – I’m inclined to believe that bank and not Farage.
//So the financial expert is mistaken, having read the bank’s report?//

Either mistaken or telling lies. Read the report and come to your own conclusions rather than relying on YouTube.
Hymie, //I’m inclined to believe that bank and not Farage. //

But you don't believe the bank. You can see for yourself what the bank said.
But the bank has not said that he met their financial criteria to have an account – in fact their report said exactly the opposite.
In the youtube video in which the financial expert stated that the bank’s report said that Farage’s account was closed because he no longer met the financial requirements of having an account with them; Farage was also in the youtube video, citing from the report – why did he not point out that the financial expert was wrong – is he some sort of fool?
Read the report, Hymie, don't depend on some cove on YouTube doing it for you. I'm not going to do it for you either (though I've done it for myself). You will get the full lowdown on why Coutts closed NF's account and I can assure you it was not solely because he was too poor, For example:

"The Committee did not think continuing to bank NF was compatible with Coutts, given his publicly stated views that were at odds with our position as an inclusive organisation."

That's nothing to do with being poor. And there's much, much more where that came from which makes (to me anyway) chilling reading. I'm not sure anybody should be defending a bank which "cancels" its customers because of the political views they hold.
I'm sure hymie isn't telling fibs.... just cherrypicking the bits that suit him ... or more likely just relying on a youtuber clip than on the actual report. O was hoping farage might come out looking stupid but it's looking more likely his uncovered something important
//O was hoping farage might come out looking stupid//

Why was that, bob?
Perhaps Farage can ask the Murrells up here in Scotland for a loan? The Murrells have £600,000 swishing about their bank accounts.
Hymie at 1.50pm - you are incorrect, as is the financial expert you keep
on encouraging people to watch in your endless and pointless videos.

The bank, in their own report, has stated “…the client’s economic contribution is now sufficient to retain on a commercial basis”.

These are the Bank’s words, so the financial expert’s words count for nothing.

Man up and admit you are wrong.

Given the Bank’s words it becomes clear this was political.
The politicians and lickspittle "news reporters and servile serpents" may be retreating and insisting it wasn't me guv but there is more ... much more to reveal itself.
P.S. Sorry Judge, a cove( I laughed out loud) from yootoob.

I think bob meant to type

Or was hoping farage might come out looking stupid

^yes, I think that’s what Bob meant too.
I think Judge may have discerned that much royfromaus ... he just wanted to know why bobbin wanted him to look stupid. [As if he doesn't now :)) ]
Bob didn't want him to look stupid, he was talking about Hymie.
I agree. Bob meant Hymie wanted Farage to look stupid. Poor old Hymie. Failed again.
^^*it’s getting to the point that I feel embarrassed for him, which given he appears to never feel embarrassed when he’s consistently wrong, is a bit odd.
