https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/22/ex-us-diplomat-goes-on-islamophobic-rant-wishes-more-dead-palestinian-kids

in the videos he wishes for more dead palestinian children, asks a 24 year old vendor if he has raped his daughter, and threatens them with deportation

do you agree with him? does mr seldowitz represent the unspoken views of many people in government in the united states and israel?

Has your barber got a stash of machine guns, rocket launchers, grenades hidden in childrens hospitals, roy? If so i will join you.

OMG did this burger van bloke have a stash of machine guns, rocket launchers, grenades hidden in childrens hospitals, yfanny?

I didn't know that...no wonder he got abused.

It's not about who started it Ynnafymmi, we all know Hamas started it, it's about wanting to see innocents killed. Do you really want to see innocent children killed because they were born in the wrong country?

YNNAFYMMI, do you have independent confirmation of those claims?

By the way, don't tell me to Google it.

No,i want to see the Hamas terrorists wiped off the face of the Earth,Mozz.Any innocent childrens deaths lie firmly on the bloodied hands of the Hamas terrorists.Them and them only.

And if it takes 4000 innocent children's lives to achieve that, is that acceptable to you? It seems like a very high price to pay to me.

@23.19.Do you have"independent"confirmation against these claims,TCL?And dont ask me to go on Wikipedia.

@23.24.No,its not acceptable to me.Is it acceptable to you.But the fact remains that the Hamas terrorists started this.No Hamas terrorist attack on the 7th October all these innocents would be still living. The blame lies firmly on the Hamas terrorists.

I think I've made it quite clear that I think it is unacceptable. While I agree that Hamas need to be stopped and they are to blame for this whole conflict, the Israelis have it in their power whether or not innocents die or not. Hopefully the shelling campaign will lesson and Israeli troops will end things up close and personal

Nah,Mozz. The innocent Palestinian children were(indirectly)killed by the Hamas terrorists on 7th October. The Hamas terrorists have their own childrens blood on their hands.Bastrads.

YNNAFYMMI, as has been said before, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

As you're the one making the claims, the onus is on you to provide the evidence to substantiate them.

Nah,you unsubstantiate my claims first,TCL.

'What was found in the hospital?

The Israeli military released video footage from inside an undisclosed building within the medical complex.

The video showed three duffel bags that the military claims were found hidden in an MRI lab, each containing an assault rifle, grenades, Hamas uniforms and flak jackets.

Additionally, the army showed assault rifles without ammunition clips and a laptop that it said were found.

Israeli military spokesperson Jonathan Conricus said: “These weapons have absolutely no business being inside a hospital,” adding that he believed the material was “just the top of the iceberg.”.'

'Yet, more than 24 hours after Israel’s raid started, the Israeli army has not shown evidence of either Hamas-run tunnels or a military command centre under the hospital

Are there holes in Israel’s claims?

Mustafa Barghouti, the general secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative, said that what Israel had shown in videos from under al-Shifa Hospital so far could easily have been planted by the army itself.

“All they’ve shown is a Kalashnikov and a laptop that they could have put there easily and claim that it was found there,” the veteran Palestinian legislator told Al Jazeera.

On X, formerly Twitter, the Israeli army first posted a video of Conricus taking viewers on a tour through parts of al-Shifa, which it said was without any edits or cuts.

But it deleted that post and then republished a near-identical video, with some tweaks. On social platforms, that further fuelled questions about the veracity of Israel’s claims."'

while it is accurate to say that the present round of hostilities started on october 7th it is not true at all to say "this whole thing" started then... israel conquered gaza decades ago and has treated its population abominably since then. while they pulled out ground troops in 2007 they also poured money and support into hamas in order to prevent the palestinian authority from uniting subsequently. if you fund terrorists then you get terror.

i am afraid it is naive in the extreme to say "israel good hamas bad"... in effect both are ruled by people with genocidal ideologies who use real political grievances as an excuse to kill or displace people they consider undesirable

Question Author

mister seldowitz's outburst struck me as interesting not only because of his personal influence but because if you just take away the aggressiveness of harassing a street vendor and leave everything else he seems to perfectly encapsulate the viewpoint of many in israel's present and government and also many of their cheerleaders... the only difference is that others rely more on euphemism, on leaving the quiet parts unsaid, and on a veneer of "politeness" though the attitude remains the same. frankly i read a great deal on this website which is virtually identical to his views but simply expressed in another medium....

@02.14.He said, she said.I think i will take Israels version before i take the Hamas terrorists [email protected] any innocent Palestinian childs death since 7th October can be blamed fairly and squarely at the door of the Hamas terrorists who started this war on 7th October.

Question Author

well except that the government of israel was pouring money into them for years and doing everything possible to prop them up. If you support terrorists then you get terror... you reap what you sow

Probably hoping that the Hamas terrorists would wipe out the Fatah terrorists and vice-versa.

Question Author

Fatah are not terrorists

Question Author

and even if they were hoping that, they still carry a share of the responsibility for doing so much to facilitate hamas
