Where does it say he was unarmed Untitled.  Having been through Gaza in the past I know for a fact that stones and petrol bombs are thrown at soldiers and peacekeepers by children of all ages.  It is the way they have been brought up.  I am not saying in any way that this is right but in the heat of the moment it can and does happen.

I have answered that elsewhere naomi... we've had that discussion before. suffice to say that i do not believe israel is "defending itself" in the west bank... in that area it looks very much like the aggressor. nor do i believe genocide to be an acceptable measure if self-defence in the war against hamas

untitled, you haven't answered the question and what you 'believe' - or choose to believe - is a very long way from reality.  The fact is Hamas - like its cohorts, the Palestine Islamic Jihad,  and just about every other militant Islamist group you care to name, is committed to the destruction of Israel and to the establishment of an Islamist Palestinian state.  You should be very careful what you wish for because if it happens you won't like it.

No ploy in the sense of, getting hostages. But it just could be a case of, method in the madness. Both sides have now had time to lick their wounds and also in the case of Hamas more so, relocate and rearm, but I doubt the latter has gone un- noticed.
