well back in the day, i woke up in a bus station middle of nowhere.. no money 3am, what does one do, north south east or west...hitched a lift to nearest town, got my bearings then started the long walk, never did it again or how i ended up there ?, maybe its a rocker thing..

Never in a public place and never required an ambulance but,yes, in my youth I may have overindulged but it aint no sense getting old if you don't get wise.

I received ambulance and then hospital treatment.

Should I not have received that treatment?

Where you likely to vomit,defecate or involuntarily urinate with your broken leg.? I doubt it.I had a motorcycle accident back in the late 70s and was charged by the LAS for treatment and ride to A&E. I didn't deliberately write off my bike. It was an accident

i can understand the motivation behind not wanting to trouble the emergency services who are severely overstretched after 13 years of underfunding, but i fail to understand the motivation behind pouring a bucket of cold water - some kind of spite I presume.
