Meanwhile the Senate vote on aid to Ukraine stood at 58-41 as of yesterday with Democrat time warp Bernie Sanders one of those holding back the required 60 total in favour

“In the first, most difficult days of the big war, we stood against a vile and powerful enemy. We prevailed
 together.

Our battle continues and changes daily. The tasks of 2022 are different from the tasks of 2024. Therefore, everyone must change and adapt to new realities as well. To win together too.

We just met with the Supreme Commander. An important and serious conversation.
A decision was made about the need to change approaches and strategy.

I’m grateful to everyone who stands by my side. To the team of the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the President of Ukraine.

I am proud of everyone in the Armed Forces of Ukraine who protect the future of our children.

All soldiers, sergeants and officers. I bow my head to all those who gave their lives for Ukraine and freedom. We will remember and take revenge for everyone.

Ukrainians will definitely win.

Glory to Ukraine!”

Question Author

Senate has just passed the Bill on aid for Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel: 64-29 so far.

I'll be honest I've no idea what the immediate consequences of this are but it isn't bad news

Question Author

So, it goes to HoR now

Question Author

218 HoR signatures needed for something called an IT discharge procedure - thus would override attempts by speaker Johnson to prevent a vote in the House.

Question Author

That was only the vote to bring it for debate (!)

It seems likely to pass though given the 67-32 margin. We'll see
