I don't think they would have deliberately targetted a car knowing it to be full of aid workers - whoever ordered the strike made a terrible mistake.

their excuse was that they wrongly thought a hamas operative might be inside... so it wasn't as though they didn't know it was full of aid workers, they were just willing to kill them all in order to reach their target

I don't really understand why Hamas perpetrated Oct 7 massacre if it wasn't just designed to precipitate what has actually followed (and possible trigger a more widespread Arab/Israeli conflict).

There's no reasoning with Ynnafymmi now. Israel could round up a group of Gazan kindergarten children and execute them on live TV and Ynna will still exonerate them and blame Hamas. The idea that both sides are guilty of atrocities is alien to him.

I can only think that Hamas expected the Arab nations in the region - Iran/Jordan/Egypt & Hezbollah to pile in and crush Israel. They must be SO disapointed.
