In the interest of equality, same sex couples are to be given the same adoption rights as heterosexual couples (which in the real world means they will be favoured to ensure the authoritiers are shown to be actively placing kids with same sex couples).

When I used the word 'normal' I suppose I meant acceptable and not outrageous, rather than in the biological and 'biblical' sense.
Most people who fully understand something have the ability to say "I may not like it but I can see where you are coming from" rather than having a kneeherk reaction stemming from fear of not being in control of a stuation
I really don't see what the fuss is about. Why wouldn't a gay couple be fit to raise children? Why is it even a question? Would anybody put a post on hear asking if a straight couple would be fit to raise childeren without knowing anything about their personalities or the homelife that they are offering? No! I think that there is still a whole lot of prejudice in the world and it's the fault of older generations who pass it on to their children, grandchildren etc.
Children left to their own thoughts and opinions would see nothing wrong in having "two dads" or "two mums" because they would not know any different. Bullying would be the result of a child or children being brainwashed by prejudice adults that being gay and having gay parents is wrong. And in this day and age to be honest most children would probably thing having gay parents was pretty cool!
And just to clarify, i'm straight.
