I think, like the government, some ABers are finding government a lot more difficult than Opposition! 😉

Why? Are you missing being able to say "You lost, get over it"?

One of the main ones is once again taking a break in the sun for a few days, but will be back; and I'm sure the Cons will be blamed (sometimes rightly) for getting us in this mess and (wrongly) provoking unrest

Oh look, another post aimed at agitation and discord.

Must be Wednesday.

Besides investigating the criminal activities of the many Tories involved in the illegal PPE covid VIP lanes – hopefully the Labour government will conduct an impact assessment of Brexit; besides the annual loss of £40 billion in tax revenue, I can confidently predict that the review’s conclusion will include that Brexit is a complete disaster for the UK.

I knew that would tempt them out!

Why? Are you missing being able to say "You lost, get over it"?

I'm not !  whenver the centrist liberals ( you know - those with tattoos, inability to count up to five and vote for Tommy RObinson even when he is not on the ballot paper) whine about Starmer

I dance around them  ( my own little dance, based on Nijinsky)and sing that very merry refrain !

it gets me deleted alot

I don't think that even the most ardent Labour supporter can defend the action taken so far by the Starmer and co.

Do away with pensioners winter allowance, giving unions more power to create havoc in the country, building on green belt and covering the countryside with wind farms.  And they have only just started.

If I was to make some proposal of a course of action that the UK government should take, and that action will result the UK government losing £40 billion a year in reduced tax revenue, people would think I was mad - but to Brexiteers it is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

// result the UK government losing £40 billion a year in reduced tax revenue//

Really? Do you have a reliable source for that?

I want to see all public transport back in public ownership. I want to see all utilities re-nationalised without compensation. If people moan that it would be against the law to do it without compensation, change the law, then do it.

I doubt the Brexit supporters would care if the loss was £100 billion a year (or more) in tax revenue – to them Brexit is sacrosanct and must never be undone, no matter what.

What with many being greatly concerned at the one off black-hole of £20 billion odd in the government’s finances, left by the previous Tory administration – I wonder was level of annual tax loss (revealed by a Brexit impact assessment) would cause Brexiteers to rethink their position.  Certainly a £40 billion a year loss, appears to be of little concern.

I think the *suggested* figure of £40 billion due to Brexit relates to GDP - now you are saying it's lost tax revenue?

The £40 billion a year is lost tax revenue due to Brexit, the GDP loss is in excess of £100 billion.

well davebro he goes by the mantra tell a lie often enough and it becomes truth, well on here with his faithful.

Keep chomping those sour grapes Hymie.  You lost so get over  it.

Oh, and well played TTT 🤣

All would be revealed in formal Brexit impact assessment, conducted by the government.

Chomp chomp chomp.

One for Hymie.
