I wrote earlier today somewhere on another thread, how Kier Starmer viewed politics through the prism of law. Here I have just watched David Starkey (whom God preserve) stating a similar sentiment, only put more elequently;

starmer looking on politics thro a Law prism

well he would, wouldnt  he? ( Mandy R-D)

The only problem is: (  a bit like AB) the fluffy little commentators know nothing ( "fluff all") about law ( just like Prof Nasty)

And what happened tonight?
Normal people came out and outnumbered the knuckle dragging thugs, all over the country and the promised violence was nullified.
Much to the disappointment of Tommy Tennames, Garage, Khandro, and all the other EDL cheerleaders on AB.

A victory for the decent people of the UK.

Do you know that for a fact or are you just sumising?

Get a grip man and stop spreading false lies about things you cannot possibly know.  It's people like you that caused this in the first place.

yeah saw a lot of palastinian flags in the crowds, further evidence of the left wing love of terrorists.

Interesting that I saw a lot of muslims marching with the rainbow flag mob. I wonder if they'll cherish those moments when they are being lobbed off the St Pauls Mosque once Britanistan is created.

I wasn't impressed with the Palestinian flag waving either, TTT.

I often read that the EDL hasn't existed for some time. No doubt the members at the time are still around, but it seems difficult for someone to be a cheerleader for something that allegedly doesn't exist. Does anyone have real evidence, as opposed to claims, that it is still in existence ?

Gromit.  The only organisations of which I am a member, are one for motoring & one for golf. Sorry to disapoint you.

St Pauls Mosque once Britanistan is created. - oh come on - Londonistan is created....

I am sure the wee wee frees ( they are scot protestant sect, mods) in the norrrrrrth wd never convairrrrrrrrt !

9:31. Better to be holding a Palestinian flag during a peaceful protest, than half a brick during a violent riot.

I know you're trying to engage with others, but that's a really reductive.

It's like you think that all Muslims are Muslim extremist. Even you're not that stupid.

Perhaps you could put a figure on it then, for the sake of accuracy.

Going forward.

You too aren't that thick.

...probably.

There are none. Thanks.

Most Muslims aren't extremists. It's in the word 'extremist'. It means extreme.

Out of all your Muslim mates - how many have you thought, "Whoah - he's seriously dodgy"?

Here we go again!

I have no Muslim mates.

You seem very sure, about everything, it's quite noticeable.

Twenty six minutes of David Starkey??? ....... No thank you, even if he talked sense!

Arresting, charging and putting into prison in days ... sounds like an appropriate set of measures for rioters that challenge democracy and the rule of law itself. I am sure that if it happened to  something more tame, like someone gluing themselves to a motorway, that many here would applaud (and have in the recent past). Well, the principle is the principle - don't challenge the rule of law, or be ready to feel the consequences.
