Criticism
I can't understand what all this fuss is about. Have we not been saying in the last few weeks how much of a Christian country we are?
If other people can put their trust in their God, why can't I?

So what are you all basing your "knowledge" about Tone's religious beliefs on?
Things you have seen in the media?.........Well we've just seen how someone might not want to declare their Chistian beliefs if this is the ridiculous reaction it might get!
His actions? .......If you listened to what he said he mentioned that " God would be the judge of his actions", a personal, final judgement. He didn't say that God lead him or directed him in his decisions.
The UK is a Christian country, no matter what any opt-outers might say. It is this very Christianity that has encouraged and welcomed the integration of other faiths and cultures in our country. For a world leader of such a Christian country not to be able to offer a view on his faith for fear of ridicule or causing offence to another group appears to me to be quite sad!
