Jail for Animal Activist Cretins

Hurrah - justice has been served (although I'd like to have seen these cretinous deluded morons receive more), but I'm reasonably happy with 12 years.

Q - did anybody see on the news last night their idiotic justification for stealing the remains of that poor woman? As there were a few guinea pig bones in the woods she was fair game.

It just simply beggars belief that in their weird screwed up little world they equate defiling a human grave on a par with the remains of a few rodents.

As mentioned in a previous post, and despite the opinion that certain people has posted as evidence, the fact remains that humans are significantly more important than animals, and if the death of a million or even 10 million animals leads to the successful treatment of a disease, then the end justifies the means.

Well it certainly was a terrible thing to do and I'm happy enough that they recieved significant sentences, but life is wholly subjective and one person will think that all life is sacrosanct (Buddists for example) and other believe there is a hierachy attached to life ( like you).

On a personal level, theoretically I agree with the former, whilst I actually practice the latter.Animal testing has limited usefulness, but it is useful to it's initial degree, therefore it must continue, albeit it always saddens me to think of it.

I'd prefer testing for cosmetic purposes to cease as I find that unpalettable and unacceptable, but drugs testing is sadly necessary.

I do not actually believe that the people concerned with this crime were even animal lovers. Wherever you have a "cause" you'll find the very bitter and the very angry who'll be happy to attach themselves to it and become the most fundamentally viscious and unreal in their actions. I think this is what you have here, a group of people who'll stop at nothing to cause misery and it's a shame for all the peaceful animal rights activists who attempt to put forward calm and sensible alternatives that these horrible individuals get the publicity and mar their efforts at change.

Hmm intresting one this. Yes i admit that the old animal rights people do go over the top some times and they should be punished for what they did. But i think it's extreamly arogant that you should say that humans are more important than animals. I mean you don't see them killing each other over stupid things like religion and stuff. Plus some of the animals they use in testing (such as rats and dogs) are as loving and as social (and dare i say it, inteligent) as some humans. I think scientists now adays should know enough about chemicals and what not, to know which one's are gonna kill an animal out right and which one's aren't. Plus what about the numerus cases of drugs that have said to be safe (coz they were tested on an animal that has nothing in common with us humans) and have gone on to be used on humans with very bad results.

I dont agree with the desecrating the grave but i think the sentence is far too long if you compare it to other sentences handed out in this country for example the woman who took part in raping a twelve week old baby was only sentenced to five years. so basically our law holds that it is worse to dig up someones remains then to rape a baby - is that what you think as well flip flop?

I didnt think you would be able to answer that one flip flop, therefore i'm assuming you agree with my point that the sentence was too long compared to the lesser sentences given for far more horrific crimes i.e as mentioned in my previous post.

I do not think the rape of a child is less important than the vile cowardly desecration of an innocent woman's grave.

The sub-humans who raped the child deserve to spend the rest of their naturals behind bars, and for our sentencing system to give such a light sentence is an injustice.

However, I hope the vile idiots who harrassed, bullied, threatened and generally made that poor families life hell for six years just because they reared a few rodents for testing (which ultimately will help us. Yes it will) serve every single second of their twelve years sentences.

Hi..flip flop....you aren't related to these people are you? By the way....do you go fox hunting as well? Anyway, have you seen what the scientists do to the animals in there labs? I can't see how punching a dog in the face (just because your ****** off because you can't stick a needle in it as it is too young and it's veins are too small) has anything to do with animal testing. I'll send you a copy of the video if you like. Oh and would you like to make profit from the suffering of animals? Coz that is what that "lady" was doing. Yeah the sentences were harsh and they should not have done what they did. I think you need to stop looking down your nose at people and animals and realise we are all the same. Actualy we worse. I've never seen an animal kill another animal just so it could have some nice lipstick.

What ever you say flip flop. I can't be bothered to waste my time talking to some one as arrogant as you. So what rights should animals have? Should they have drugs tested on them when they have no conections to human biology? Should they be killed for sport? Should they be turned into coats? Should they be killed for mans own vanity? BTW flip flop....i have an image in my mind of what you look like and i'm thinking...wax jaket, "hunter" wellies...big 4x4 that never goes off road...sorry i know i shouldn't think like that.
