Massacre, more like. How do you think Iraq feel? Scared? Imagine if America were assembled in Ireland and pointing all that stuff at us with 50,00 troops, right on our doorstep and Powerful; Would we then appreciate the horror they're purporting and shout 'No War!' a bit more loudly. Have we got callous, selfish governments - or what?

We've got politicians who will hang on to power at all costs - selfish in the extreme. We are at the beginning a big recession as demonstrated by the number of redundancies announced recently and the manufacturing figures. It would be advantageous to some politicians to blame it on Sadam when your house prce crashes rather than accept the fact that they are either not competent in economics or have far less influence over them than they would have us believe. They also get to batter someone and feel like a winner when OBL made idiots out of them. Oh and there's a lot of cash to be made if you are in armaments or oil. From a politician's point of view it looks like a flawless plan. The only slight problem is that people seem to be rather less gullible than they had hoped. Anyone for a stroll in Hyde Park on Saturday?

I went to a Hyde Park demo, Woodpam; Wear good padding and if you want to know the time, don't ask a policeman.
Thanks for the advice - I'll be staying out of the way of the horses too. I have no intention of being the victim in this years charge of the light brigade.

And the water cannon. And the professional government paid agitation gangs - sent to wreck the peace and make the true cause look stupid. Apart from that good luck with it all. I would go if I could find the fare and somone to care for my dog.

No Ned, you can't. Wouldn't fit in with community, caring policy face they're trying to project. Join the armed forces and inflict some misery on people who've done nothing to you with some serious weapons instead if you're that keen on war. Hopefully, like the Saturday Hyde Park strollers they won't have anything to fight back with.
