Anyone else ticked off with the chancellor's decision to stop us collecting points on nectar cards when you buy fags in sansburys?

Really???? That's a bit of a shocker. However, Nectar cards are an insideous marketing device of little benefit to the consumer. I've thrown mine away.

Headtime - I realise that, but the fact they give you back what's even a minor amount [compared to the spend involved] is better than a poke in the squiggs
Now would seen a good time to give up the tobacco then. You wil live longer to enjoy the benefits from your Nectar card. Your family will like you more as well I should imagine.

Child 1: My dad's a successful engineer, what does your dad do?
Child 2: My dad smoked cigarettes, ended up with one leg, unable to breathe, and gasping for a fag until he died.
Go for a credit card that gives you cash back .... much more useful than points.
But he hasn't stopped you from getting points by buying your fags with a Barclaycard. Heh heh.
Have to admit I was astonished that we were ever able to do so wasn't that surprised when it was disallowed.
No, the more that can be done to stop people buying these appalling deathsticks, the better.
