No not the world, just Britain.
Remember, Blair claimed it was the most impressive thing he'd done implementing the EU Human Rights Act a few years ago?. Welcome to Tony's legacy, plus Iraq, crime, nhs meltdown, education, immigration and last but not least John Prescott.
To balance this opinion gina what about the mental case in government (David Blunkett) who has sent bills to people who spent years behind bars for crimes they didn't commit.

In the case of Stephen Downing, he spent 27 years behind bars for a crime of which he has now been exonerated of.

The mentally deficiant David Blunkett has sent him a bill for 80.000 to cover his bed and board for 27 years to which he was not entitled to.

The people that run this country are ALL insane

i totally agree and think the story you told is disgusting but to give 2 million to someone hurt in a failed suicide attempt is just beyond words. did the people sent these bills have to pay or were they "let" off?
Question Author
going back to your reply kev, just remember the amount of people who are also awarded compo for being wrongly jailed
I think gina that you are missing the point,if someone has his/her life taken from them, upon exoneration they should be entitled to massive financial damages.

For Blunkett to then take away those damages by way of a fine because in his mentally retarded state he thinks they have conned the country out of money by getting free bed and lodging is as ludicrous as it gets.

Monty Python couldn't write a script as f****** ridiculous as this

David Blunkett needs to be put in a secure mental facility where he can be properly cared for.
I'm sorry gina I think I misunderstood your last post
