Why were there no arrests made, over this incident? And why was this not given wide TV coverage? Is it not time Burkas were banned once and for all?

You ask how do you think the ban on Burkas could be policed? Just like some countries abroad police their ban of the wearing of shorts or bikinis on their streets. Not saying the police would wait outside Mosques, but if a policeman happened to see someone in a Burka then an arrest could be made. We live in a dangerous time, and it is time for strong measures, let's stop pussy footing around.

Do you think those people came over here to help us, out of the goodness of their hearts? No they came over here on our goverments generous assisted packages, to improve their life style. But you can't blame them for that, we also had the offer of cheap passages over to Australia. The only difference was that our people had to live in dormitory hostels until they could support themselves. Why else did many return home very disillusioned?
You mentioned those who aided efforts in the war in Africa and India. Yes indeed they did and we were grateful for their courage and bravery, but again they did not only do it for us, but also themselves, because this was a World War and it effected everyone.

The unfortunate thing about pixeling is you can not inject tone. I can assure you my 'shove off' was meant tongue in cheek hence the 'take care' after it. I'd have put kisses but it didn't seem entirely appropriate. If I'd have thought you'd take offense I would not have said it.

I didn't think it was a fair question because it was lumping race and religion in to one. I took slight umbridge on the part of Splat as I believe he is black and it seemed a bit of a personal attack on his pixels. I shouldn't have done that as Splat is more than capable of fighting his own corner so that was my own knee jerk reaction. Also, because I don't think you can take a group of people and demand advantages of a group. I think people should be taken on their own merit and not judged according to race or religion. If I did that I'd hate the entire Geman race and quite probably the Irish too.
Do you think that when we were out conquering the world to make it our 'empire' we were doing it out of the goodness of our heart and to bring 'civilisation' to the rest of the world? Of course not. Why should anyone else be any different? But just because you have something to gain starting a new life somewhere does not mean that you also do not have something to bring.
There is a shortage of doctors and nurses in Africa. Why? Because we (and America) have pinched them. Would you consider more doctors and nurses a good enough advantage? I won't ask you to list your disadvantages because that is judging many on the actions of a few. You chose not to judge on any advantage I could put forwards so I choose not to judge on your disadvantages.
As far as my breeding goes AOG I have no comment to make. I don't know how you were brought up and you don't know how I was so I wouldn't like to judge.

Yes I am old enough to tell you what happened to our society. It all started with the introduction of state benefits, when some people found it was easier to live off the state than go to work, and with the mass immigration into this country.
Yet another factor was the drop in discipline, which caused a drop in standards and self respect.
The sanctuary of marrige being eroded, thus leading to the break-up of the family, was yet another factor.
The need for the woman to go to work also helped to break up family life.

Honestly, I see it as a brilliant recruitment advert for radical Muslims.

I cannot answer on behalf of those protesters. It's up to them where they choose to live.
However, if you say that someone's right to protest should be determined by their skin colour or ethnic background ("if you're black, Muslim, Hindu etc, then go back to where you came from"), then you're on a slipperly slope towards disavowing certain members of the public a voice.
And that's unnacceptable.
I cannot answer on behalf of those protesters. It's up to them where they choose to live.

4. We keep the transport infrastructure running.

7. We design clothes which New Yorker magazine call the 'Best tailoring in Europe'
8. We preside over county courts, ensuring judicial processes
9. We run shops
10. We are GPs
11. We are great sportsmen and women.

14. We are great local businessmen/women who work hard, opening up early and closing late.
