Why are successive governments ruining this country with their immigration policies?

With remembrance Sunday approaching I wonder if the men that fought the last war feel as if they shouldn't have bothered in the light of the country being given away to virtually anybody that wants to walk in.
Just what is the thinking behind this outrage?
Why are parts of the country and certain whole towns overrun with people that are SO FAR removed from the culture of this country?
Just what exactly are the benefits of immigration?
Of course you can't say this without being called a racist, but It's not racist, it's culturist and I'm not apologising for that.
It has now gone so far that it is irreversible but it seems as if the powers that be just want to make sure.
We might as well have lost the war, we couldn't have been in a worse state than we are now.

No one in their right mind is against immigration, what the majority are dpposed to is over immigration, something this country has undergone in the last 20 years or so.Successive governments have lost the plot and allowed far to many immigrants in. This problem does not affect me, living in the country, with not a immigrant in sight, but frankly what I see in our towns appals me, I think I was the only Brit in Leicester Sq, when I visited London last week! Multi cultureism does not work either, like Communism its fine in theory but not in practice.And no I am not racist, just a realist.

It's the centre of one of the world's major capitals. It's the most cosmopolitan, un-English city in England.

Why did they choose this country and not the nearest safe refuge?
the U.K is an island, making it vharder to invade than France, so historicaly we have always welcomed refugees.

I've read this over and over but still cannot make sense of it. We are not talking about the start of WW2 here, when yes this Island of ours was a fairly safe haven for refugees.

But now there is no need for them to pass through numerous safe countries, especially when some of those countries are more suitable for their culture and life style.

As for taking our women, well if British men don't know how to treat a lady can you blame them for falling for people who treat them with respect?

Treat them with respect thats rich, it is a known fact that in most cases a white woman is classed as a trophy to a blackman, till they tire of them and move on to another one.

Go into any poorer districts and see these women pushing around pushchairs with mixed race children, who will never know their fathers.

Then there are many cases of foreign fathers who have absconded abroad with their offsprings. Oh yes they know how to treat their women, to them a woman is a second class citizen.

In answer to you Sweep2k Yes if it comes down to it I am a frightened old man. I am frightened to see this country heading for the abyss, while most of the young sit back and let it, providing it does not affect their favourite football club, or close down their drinking holes.

The changing world you say, just take a tour around Europe you will not find another country that is in such a state as this one. Better Education, better public transport, better health service, better care for their elderly, cleaner streets, I could go on and on. But then it would fall on deaf ears because it seems obvious that you are one who is bringing this country down.

I just hope that everyone who has a problem with immigrants refuses to accept any treatment from a black nurse in years to come. 50% of NGS nurses are 'from the colonies'.

Yep...you have a point there.

The other big problem is that Britain has the strongest economy in Europe (we're the fourth largest in the world y'know).

Unemployment is low as too are interest rates. The only thing the right wingers have to complain about is immigration...but the irritating fact is immigrants benefit the ecomony. They simply put in more than they take out.

Still, as long as there's The Daily Mail, I'm sure there will be something to bang a drum about...even if the drum is made completely out of cobblers.

Off to watch the next bit of the National Television Awards now....hang on...it's being presented by Sir Trevor McDonald...he's an immigrant isn't he?

Don't get me wrong...you may be right...but on my travels in London, I see loads of immigrants working in banks, building societies, in GP surgeries, bars, shops, council offices, solicitors offices etc etc...

You're all getting way off beam here - how about we just let the ones in we need (LIKE NURSES) but not absolutely anybody like we do at the moment.
It also wouldn't be a bad idea to actually send back to Somalia an eleven-time serial sex offender (that was initially refused citizenship because of his behaviour) instead of declaring that this would "infringe his human rights to a family life" and letting him stay here to have another go. No other country in the world would be as idiotic as we are in this respect and it is this that I have a teensy-weensy problem with.
By the way, if there are any black guys and girls on here defending mass immigration, are they aware that eastern Europeans are inherently racist (listen to the reception black footballers get when they play there)
