Some of us find it offensive for the muslim women to wear their faces covered but when anyone dares to say anything we are accused of being racist. It's time we stopped being doormats.
It's very easy to find the wearing of the veil offensive.
What it says to me is that the wearer sees me, a man, as being so untrustworthy, that I'm not even allowed to look at her face. I find that offensive.
It also says to me that wearer is someone who is unwilling to assimilate into the society in which they choose to live. I find that offensive.
It also says to me that the wearer thinks so little of the society that surrounds her, she is willing to cut herself off from the rest of us. I find that offensive.
I don't particularly like any public demonstration of any religious beliefs. The difference is, I'm willing to tollerate it, because not everyone does or has to think the same way as I do.
Why the hell shouldn't the wearing of the veil be seen as offensive?

If a child's teddy bear were to be put on sale under the name "Jesus Christ," do you not think there would be objections made?
Why do folk object when others care more about their particular branch of religion than their own? Do you object to Roman Catholic nuns and their style of wear? You would recognise a nun walking down the street so they must dress in a way which is completely different to others. Does that offend you? Many Jewish women wear wigs so that their real hair is not on view, does that offend you?

I love our bus route here.... 666 and the sign is the devil.
Some do gooder thought they'd try and get rid of the number and the sig.
Came across a lot of people defending the bus route. No blood though.
The route has stayed and so have the toy devils!!!
I thought those women that wear that covering thing do so because the men in charge of their religion make them.
That burka thing is dominance by men against women.
