I have a bottle in my office which I just go and refill from the water cooler. But drink tap water at home.

If your tap water tastes like 'swimming pool' water, just leave of a jug of it in the fridge. The swimming pool taste goes.

I always drink tap water in this country. I do not trust bottled water as much and think most of it is a big con.
