Its like a police car sounding its sirens on their way to a reported burglary -doesnt make sense.

Ben Needham has come to the forefront again -his mum has been on the TV etc.
His disappearance did attract the same level of interest all those years back -I can quite vividly remeber allt he press coverage even yet. There does come a point tho that the only outlet -the media-find another bone to chew on.
I personally havent forgotten Ben Needham nor am I unaware of the angst his poor family must feel whenever another child goes missing.
Its a living nighmare (:

Ben Needham would now be of an age to question his background and take any steps he wished. Ofcourse his family still suffer though.
As 4 this video, the unusual portrayal is a 'hijabed' woman & european child. Sky said she was from North Africa (don't know how they know that). I pray no moslem woman puts herself in a position of aiding an abducter....as all hell would break loose.
Am sad a few would rather the subject dropped.....but I feel differently, and it is STILL news.

Ben Needham's case was covered quite differently - the family got no help at all from anybody and had the finger of suspicion firmly pointed at them throughout. The mother had to sell off a lot of her possessions to get home
There was certainly no Team Needham, no millions of pounds donated nor private detectives.

Ben had maximum publicity at the time and still does. Even I, and many other Abers do know the case but it was a different era.
In Maddie's case we ARE NOT going to roll over, shrug our shoulders and move on. Where's there's breath there's life and those scoundrels who did away with her will be hunted down.
For what its worth.....this is my theory: The child-carers at the hotel were losing income as parents were not using their services, so planned this as a protest. All went wrong and out of control as they didn't reckon on such devoted parents taking these actions.
GO ON, BRICK ME?

That woman had a good explanation:
But now Belgian police have said a man has come forward to say the girl is his daughter and that she was out with her nanny.
