Hello China, me again (over 30's)
Last time I made a comment on here about thatcher it got banned.
To moderate my feelings about her and this current situation, I feel nothing for her. She's rich, has private doctors, and she will get cared for no matter how doolally she goes. Sadly, the same could not be said when my mum was rushed to hospital ill and spent SIXTEEN hours on a trolley in a corridor because as a result of conservative cutbacks, there was no bed for her.
I think I am one of the many who will raise a glass when she goes, not to her, but to say good riddance.

Postdog - things are no better, now. Here is just one example:

And homes are being repossessed, people are being made redundant and struggling, hospitals are dirty, gun and knife crimes are up, prisons are full, there are strikes...

Sorry Ethel but no. The hospitals are 1000 times better than they were under Thatcher (I have some experience on that score), the first recession was Tory created the second one was more global (don't forget the E.R.M), the current crisis is global and nowhere near as bad as the 2 recessions under the Tories, at least not yet.
I can't mourn for the woman (as Stokie knows only too well) but I don't wish her ill, the look on her face when her own party made her redundant was good enough for me.
