I am pleased that retired Gurkhas now have the right to live in the UK. They have served in the British Army for many years and its about time this country showed its respect for them.

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to these brave men who have supported our country over many decades and in several wars. But the fight isn't actually over yet. While the High Court as made this ruling, we have yet to see whether in fact, the government will implement it. That is why Joanna Lumley has launched this petition to get 1 million signatures to present to Downing Street to put pressure on the Government. Remember the victims of the Equitable Life scandal? The High Court ruled that the Government had acted unfairly against them, but the Government still hasn't compensated them either yet. So please sign the petition and encourage your friends to do so.

UK does not need anymore immigrants and they should stay in their own country. If they are allowed to come they will be a burden on our national health service, and as the country slides into recession and unemployment rises, they will no doubt be limping to the benefits office as clapped out soldiers tend to do, not to mention being given houses because they will never be able to buy one. Yet another language our town halls will have to spend thousands translate our draconian wheelie bin regulations into. Next thing you know, they will be importing their disgusting and dangerous food.
