A quarter of Brits want homosexual sex made illegal. The figure has actually been rising.

But when polls are conducted it is to ascertain the views of others. That is one thing which the whole of society is based upon. Knowing, and being able to provide if necessary.
But despite the arguments to the contrary by the minority who are homesexual - they are a minority and universally not considered to be following the norm of the species.
Hence my 'strong' comment in my previous post above.
This is the first time, and indeed surprises me, that I agree with Gormless.
Considering they do not procreate, there are a lot of homoxesuals about. And if they do consider it to be 'normal'. Why do so many of them hide it?
Nowt so queer as folk.

Pasta . . .to my knowledge in a society which conforms, no one is ever forced to have sex of any kind.
And to further my reasoning above, if homosexuality was indeed a true animalistic and recognised form of association, the gays of this word should be grateful that their parents did not follow that creed. Otherwise they would not be on the planet. which on reflection, would not be a bad thing.
Call me homophobic, others have. But it has never been against the law to be so. But it was indeed against the law to be same-sex orientated until 1967 - relatively recently.

Another example of the creeping correctness eroding Britain. I'm not really sure where it comes from, maybe minor officialdom that thinks it knows better than the ordinary man and then presumes to formulate the opinions that the ordinary man OUGHT to have, but doesn't. I have a suspicion that there is a majority of people who faced with the physical facts, what actually goes on, would find it distasteful. However, that same majority no longer dare speak, except at the ballot box, because correctness no longer allows it.
In fact, it's plain bloody crazy, but that's the way Britain is going. I have watched it happen, it is pathetic, the erosion of values from the inside.

It is not true to say that homosexuality does not affect anybody else and is therefore a private matter that should not concern society as a whole.
Gay couples are allowed to adopt. Adoption affects the child, obviously, but it is also a legal process which means the matter is considered by the courts, which very much makes it a matter for public concern.

The whole nature/nurture thing for homosexuality is contentious to say the least.
I don't for 1 minute feel that it should be banned etc. but I do feel that it is wrong for gay couples to be allowed to adopt, I also feel that the recent news about changing toilets to suit transgendered people and then the changes to their legal status is also wrong.
I've worked with several gay people and get along fine with them (they are just people after all) but I have to agree with the "backs to the wall jibe" some big fat smelly baldy 50 year old man saying "I don't care as long as he does'nt try it on with me!" I'd look at them and say "I'm not gay, but if I were, I think I'd want to do a bit better than you" but then of course I suppose some people just dig on virgins.....
