The loss of this child is a tragedy, and the media overkill has been just that - overkill, but I could never say I am 'fed up' with hearing about her. I am sure if she was mine, I would want every person I could to be aware of her, in the slim vain hope that someone may see her and bring her back to me.

The reason why this 'stunt' made headlines was not as part of the McCann media machine, but because of its gross insensitivity.

I'm sick of all the fake 'leads' that this family have endured and to find it 'amusing' to dress as her is evil personified.

They are only doing what any parent would trying to maintain a profile.

I would have no problem were she mentioned in every news report and in every newspaper every single day, it does no harm to me and if there were the slightest possibility that it may help to find out what happened to her then I can see no reason why anybody else should object. The brain dead morons who thought it would be funny to dress up as Madeline and Baby P should be thouroughly ashamed of themselves, their parents must be so proud of them...

The McCanns will never, nor should they, ever give up the search for their daughter. Good luck to them, I only wish I could help them. while the McCanns may have objected (so would I in their position), that wasn't why he was expelled. He was expelled for being a jerk with a taste bypass, and the Tories (and Labour for that matter) just don't think having someone like that on board will help them get elected. I think they're right.

How can anyone say they are fed up to the back teeth of hearing about her? The search should never give up - would you want to give up & the world forget about her if it were, god forbid, your child.

As for those prats who dressed up as her and Baby P - well, that was just shameful and stupid.
