Hurrah...http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/for mula_one/8116756.stm

Looks like he will not be putting himself up for re-election!
Some good news for F1 finally!
It needs to get back to the competitive days and less politics.
I reckon Moseley couldnt stand a black driver winning the Championship last year!!!

careful who you call a Nazi. His father was, and Max worked for him for a while after the war. There's no evidence that Max is now however. Remember, the News of the World tried to depict him as one because of his business in a brothel but their argument collapsed because they hadn't bothered to translate what they recorded and their star witness was unreliable.
oh, and the lawsuit he brought against the NoW suggests he won't be shy about suing AnswerBank as well...

OK OK.. I thought he might have been - but could easily be wrong.... and he probably isnt...

(Just incase Mr Moseley finds himself in these Halls!)

get yourself a good lawyer, Nosha! And remember to take a toothbrush to court with you as you'll be whisked straight off to Wormwood Scrubs when the case ends...
Question Author
case... what case.... its a forum... an area of people's views....

If someone were to call me a fat, one eyed, lesbian - would I sue?

Statements on hear are not necessarily true - just views and advice from people.

My view - from reading the NoW was that he was a Nazi - as that is what the paper stated. I read the press - not wrote it! Who can blame me for the ripples their article sent out!

PS: I missed the retraction statement by the NoW too!

NoW also said Freddie Starr eats hamsters... Better send out the RSPCA
What 'competitive days' are you reffering to ?
Question Author
Hill vs Schuey??? quite competitive no??
Senna vs Prost??

they were better than now... I thought anyway!
Senna vs Mansell were the very best, and the added interest was the absorbing interview technique of Nige, which he has maintained to this day, fantastic fabulous terrific Murray.
Question Author
MURRAY ROCKS!!!! Wish the rumours about him coming back to commentate in 09 had been true!!!! shame
He probably regrets calling them all loonies now then....;-)
I agree , with the instances quoted .

However I dont beleive nowadays , politics is what is barring competetiveness .
There needs to a way found for regular overtaking on the track - and not mostly in the pit stops .

It is so frustrating to see cars in a lot of instances ; not being able to get close enough to the one in front , even to attempt an overtaking manouvre - illustrated in the last two races
Question Author
well the tracks havent changed in the last 10 years I dont think have they - so the cars need to be made more equal to make it more competitive?
Something I think FOTA were against? (in terms of spend and budgets etc)
The fact that a man's father was a fascist doesn't mean that he is. Calling him a Nazi is a bit much.
''There needs to a way found for regular overtaking on the track''

Which is what KERS was all about...

Or they should reverse the grid at the start...
Question Author
OR.. they have to run to a bowl of keys at the beginning and hunt for the keys to their car - then run and start the engines!

NOW THAT WOULD BE FUN!!!
Budgets is not the problem - the problem is in the turbelence coming from the car in front ;caused from all sorts of apendages that the current formula 1 cars have bolted on

As for KERRS - that has not worked - the advantage to the teams with the system is minimal - that is why virtually all the teams with it are suggesting that they will get rid of it .

KERRS would be more useful if the porblem I mentioned above can be overcome.
The FIA have always been corrupt, even in the days of jean marie balestre, he moved the position of pole sitter in 1990 in a bid to help alain prost win the japanese grand prix. senna was on pole, balestre hated him moved pole to the dirty side of the track without warning. thankfully senna took alain out ;D
I agree whiffey, I used to love watching mansell blowing a blood vessel because senna got one over on him in his super duper williams
Question Author
Ooh careful cazzzzz if jno comes back and sees that...
"The FIA have always been corrupt"
we'll both be off to Wormwood!

Darent make a statement that may upset someone - ooh noooo.

;-)
not me who decides what's just 'upsetting' and what's a libel, Nosh, we have judges for that... they might just think calling someone a Nazi is slightly more than 'upsetting', though... but I was only kidding about going to prison, they don't do that in civil lawsuits.

All they do is order you to pay thousands of pounds in damages.
