Another example of what I said in an earlier post,

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question79 3008.html

Yesterday Foreign Office Minister Chris Bryant said of her imminent return: 'This is excellent news.

She will now serve out the rest of her sentence in a tax-payer funded British jail and give birth under the NHS.

It costs the British taxpayer 77 a night to keep a prisoner in a category B British jail.

And that is not all,

Clive Stafford-Smith, director of Reprieve, said she should be allowed access to independent lawyers on her return.

Does she now expect to claim a large amount of compensation from the British Government for not getting her release sooner?

As a dirty filthy drug smuggler, she should have rotted in a Laos jail for the rest of her life.

The dog is unaffected. It doesn't know it's in Iraq.

...because it's a dog.
Sounds like they know how to run a jail in Laos. I reckon we should send all our criminal scum there and pay them 10k per prisoner per year, shut down our jails and save 75% of the cost, flog the buildings, butlins will buy them, sorted. Laos would jump at the chance, Can't see the downside myself!

Good point.
I was confusing dogs with cats.

Cats couldn't give a monkeys as long as the food is in the bowl.
a) she's not british - she's nigerian (send her there instead
b) she should rot in jail as a smuggler
c) don't understand all the fuss or the effort made om her behalf when much worse things happen and naff all gets done

just had to get that off my chest x
a) she's not british - she's nigerian (send her there instead

Just curious why you say this - all the reports I have seen call her British
completely agree AOG, not only should she have rotted in a laos jail but now we..... the british tax payer will.

1. have to pay for her stay at her majestys pleasure.
2. have to look after a child fathered by god knows who.
and we all know she will have loads of human right lawyers looking after her interests, again at our expense meaning she will be released early from her sentence to go on and make a lot of money selling her story to newspapers and tv stations.

oh... and dont forget we just gave a computer hacker to america and got a drug trafficer in return.

why was'nt the hacker allowed to serve HIS sentence in this country.

Dave.
He hasn't been found guilty yet.
i know, but the extradition is all but agreed.

Dave.
Yet another piece of trash dragging this countries name through the dirt.

she wasnt born here why do we need this drug dealing scum here send her back to whichever country spwaned her.

shes laughing at us, and all the leftie do gooders are out to help her
I am concerned that we make every effort to repatriate many British nationals to serve their sentences 'at home', and yet our jails are full of foreign prisoners. Don't we have reciprocal agreements with other nations?
