Because they filmed him being scanned? And filmed the images...so I presume they got them from that.

I just don't believe them, thay have to be stored at least momentarily and the guy that does the looking must have options to save, ie for evidence etc, so how long before selected xrays end up going round on emails? It may be optional at the moment but it's soon be compulsory. What about the children etc that someone mentioned above?

Not much good for catching those illegal couriers that swallow condoms filled with drugs. Also as they seem to show your outline can weapons be stored in the armpits or the groin or even up the backside?

I see there are now issues with children using one of these things. Wait for the asians, gays etc to get on board and before you know it, it will just be 25 year old white men who shop at Sainsburys being the only ones having to be screened in this way.

I say all or nothing. As soon as you let one group of society not using it, the thing you are trying to eradicate (ie terroism) has a chance to succeed. Sometimes in life you have to put away the PC and do what is right for all of us.

It's horribly intrusive.

Think of it this way - if a message can be sent if a weapon is seen, a message can be sent about people's body shape. Would you like your wife, mum, daughter to be seen naked in public?

I wll have a fiver with any of you here and now that images get to the internet sooner rather than later. You may think there's no audience for them, but you wouldn't believe the things people seek out.
