Should these women now face a dishonourable discharge, for a self inflicted condition, making them unfit for active service?

You mean you are beaten AOG. Defeated! You dismiss anybody who disagrees with you as 'lightweights'. Or is it just females that are lightweights!!?

Oh dear, I said I wouldn't speak any more.
I saw that you hadn't tried my method Sqad. Have you had another attempt!!
lofty...LOL LOL I knew you wouldn't let me down LOL LOL
lofty....I will pluck up courage....I promise you.
Come on, AOG.
You can do better than that.
Making personal attacks is a sure sign that your argument has left you.

Remember: Them that can, do; them that can't, criticise.

Which camp are you in, I wonder ?
jack.......I think fending of a frenzy of female hormone packed attacks......AOG has done well.

Nobody supported him and only a certain "sqad" gave an answer to his questions.
I was against them getting pregnant as well sqad
Sorry cazz....I apologise.....so you were.

Thanks for that Sqad, yes I didn't realise that it was Sunday, and most of the liberated Males were either at the Golf Club, taking the dog a walk or getting a word in for a change, with their mates in the pub.

The rest, well what can I say? it's Sunday so they are either outside cleaning the wife's car, or indoors getting the Sunday meal prepared or perhaps catching up on the ironing.

It's a certainty they will not be allowed to shift their "better halves" from in front of the computer.
Low opinion you have of us AOG. Thank goodness I have a husband who treats me as an equal!! (even though I am far superior) ;o)
why so cranky today AOG? it seems like you are spoiling for an argument..?
I don't agree with AOG and his views on the situation. I do agree with cazzzzz though. They should be tested before going out and given the implant which lasts up to 5 years.

I'm afraid I belong to the old school, when there was no thing as being superior in the true sense of the word, or even equal if it comes to that.

I am Male and my wife is Female, so taking this on-board there are things she (being a female) is far more superior at than I, and there are things as a Male I am more superior than her at.

We have come to accept this genetic fact, and after 54 years of happy married life, we must be doing something right.

Never heard of self control, I thought our troops were amongst the most disaplined in the world.

Perhaps they should go the whole way, and give the Males the "Snip"also, after all they say it is reversible?
AOG.

I don't want to be "Old School" but I think that I probably am.

I agree whole heartedly with you, I don't regard women as either superior or inferior, but just male and female. That is the way that Mrs sqad and I have done it for over 40yrs and that is the way we both wanted it.

If you are really bored sometime AOG and really want to see some fire power, I will take you over to Pregnancy under Family and contribute to some threads. That will bring out the "heavies"

P.S Have enjoyed your thread.
Just to digress slightly if I may AOG - in your quote about washing cars, you referred to 'the wife' but when referring to your own partner, you called her 'my wife'.

Speaking as someone of a slightly younger generation, I have neve ever referred to my wife as 'the wife' and never would - what is your take on the courtesy of address?
AOG - I certainly would never wish to be considered to be YOUR equal..................

I should never set my sights so low !
jack...........comment unbecoming of you. He has explained his position quite clearly.

andy...I know that you asked this of jack but....my opinion....."the wife" "My wife" "her indoors"

It's not what you say, but the way that you say it.........all the above terms are, in my opinion, terms of endearment.
it takes two to tango AOG, if the british troops are the most disciplined in the world then surely there would be no pregnancies whatsoever, I think its wrong for the women to get pregnant but dont live under the illusion that the male and female soldiers all live like nuns for the entire time they are there.
sorry to jump in late on but are the women paid exactly as the men are. or as in the prison service they are paid the same but of course( as ever ) cant do the same job
in the prison service the women all screamed for a gym in which they wouldn't "feel intimidated" so they got it. 2 treadmills out of the 4 treadmills were put in the ladies gym guess what the blokes in their lunch hour had to queue and the ladies gym stood empty for weeks nuff said
