What do you think I am some sort of apologists for terrorism? Terrorists are worse than scum and I want this country to be safe.
However there is no doubt dissafected muslim youth there is a breeding ground for these "people" if an intelligence unit state that the actions of a facist organisation aids that recruitment then we should listen.
How do you know that the 7/7 bombers were not recrutied to extremism because of the actions of the BNP? You don't. and neither do I, but if they were.
Also I note that you quite simply backed up AOG who disagreed with a newspaper article, based on nothing but his own opinion, which would be fair enough, if he didn't continualy use newspaper articles to support his own views and the defend it against those that would seek to call it into question.
So its one or the other isn't it?

AOG b*ll*cks the EDL is formed because the BNP was thoroughly discredited, its another attempt by the far right to try and legitimise itself to the voting public,
I have some quite right wing views about muslims but supporting a bunch of thugs who happen to target them as flavour of the month isn't the soloution to the problem

//Two Muslim protesters have been arrested for public order offences.//
Didn't read it?
Oh yes I did read it, it only goes to support my argument of the unfair balance of treatment dished out by the police, against the EDL.
Wasn't it the Muslims that provoked the situation in the first place, by displaying offensive placards, shouting racist remarks, disturbing the 2 minutes silence, and burning the poppies?
Yet only two Muslims arrested, but five EDL members arrested, who without a doubt where highly provoked by the Muslim's actions.

AOG why were the EDL there? They didn't stop the burning and the police made arrests.
Ian what would you do? Just let the EDL kill them. We live in a democracy, the BNP were destroyed by the voters of this country, which suggests that the people are willing to let the democratic process deal with the situation.
