Sarah Palin for President?
It seems the left have a new figure of hate, the amont of general sla66ing Palin is getting is getting to the stage where the public are starting to warm to her. With that in mind do you think she will get more support than she otherwise would? I would certainly love her to win the presidency, anyone who winds up the lefties like her must be doing somethng right!

Thereafter, he served in the U.S. Senate from 1953 until 1960. Kennedy defeated then Vice President and Republican candidate Richard Nixon in the 1960 U.S. presidential election. He was the second-youngest President (after Theodore Roosevelt), the first President to have been born in the 20th century, and the youngest elected to the office, at the age of 43.[3][4] Kennedy is the only Catholic, and the first Irish American, president, and is the only president to have won a Pulitzer Prize.[5] Events during his presidency included the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the African American Civil Rights Movement and early stages of the Vietnam War. What a guy.
R1Geezer, Sarah Palin is perceived by most here as needing only one thing to become truly a national political figure and that's simply maturing. She, as you probably know, was Governor of Alaska as well as entering politics as Mayor of a smaller town.
While Governor, she righted (no pun intended) a lot of ills with corruption and over spending in Alaska... we call it "taking names and kicking butts".
For the present she hosts a "travelogue" type show on national TV from and for her home state.
I can only assume that the constant attacks from the left are a good indication of how much they actually fear her.
Look, we've been through 2 years of massive moves to the left... towards European socialism, and it's about wrecked our country. The mid-term elections in Novemeber greatly righted (again, no pun) the ship of State and right now the newly elected very conservative majority in the House of Representatives are moving quickly to repeal the power grabbing Obama Helath Plan, which constitutes 1/6 of the National Economy. Sarah is in the middle of it all as a spokeswoman for the more conservative Republicans and the left has found her as a target.
From what I remember of Ms. Thatcher, I'd say Sarah is cut from the same bolt of cloth but the cloth is prettier and younger... but nearly the consistency of tent canvas at anyrate...

Clanad - I still think she'd be Obama's opponent of choice, don't you?
I remember the trouble Ford got himself into claiming Poland wasn't under Soviet domination; Palin's North Korea remarks seem to me equally clumsy. Or do Americans just not care about international affairs so much any more? I must say I think that'd be a pity.
