Last night I paid my wife a compliment, yet it still upset her.
She was standing naked in front of our full-length mirror in the bedroom.
"Look at me," she said, "I'm an ugly, fat old hag."
"Don't be ridiculous, darling," I replied, "You're not THAT old!!"
