Watching PMQs today, what a Power Shower we have in control now, Cameron and his Clowns, all he can say is I blame the party opposite. Does he not know that he is in power, not labour, he and his cronies have been in power for four and a half years, Fact, Cameron is in charge, Fact, Job Losses ship building at Portsmouth, Fact, Nurses given p45s Fact, armed forces given p45s, fact, Senior managers and Bankers, given six figure redundant pay outs Fact. BYE BYE DAVE 2015 fact. IT is not his fault,It is the party opposite.???

@Shoota
Tories spend their time seling off the Nation's 'Family Silver' at knock-down prices to their already-rich cronies while shutting down services used by anyone in a low income bracket.
Everyone hates them for it and votes Labour in, who do their best to tax the rich to bits and claw back the above-mentioned losses.
THEN, while people bask in the satisfaction of justice being done, their attention wanders and the things you describe begin happening but people don't notice until it's too late.
So I hlaf-agree with you. Just remember where the cycle starts off. Tory croneyism.

Tories make themselves unpopular sorting Labours mess out so people vote Labour
Now there's history for you!
The Tories took power in 1979; they spent 18 years making themselves unpopular sorting out Labour's mess before being voted out in 1997?
Yea, right, that's just how it was. Poor things never had a moment in power doing what they wanted to do themselves...

It is called Realpolitik, hawksley, having to do what is politically possible and which is practically expedient yet beneficial. Harold Wilson termed it 'pragmatism' You may not remember him, perhaps. He was a very capable Labour PM who presided over the highest rate of inflation in living memory, as I recall, and was inclined to blame Swiss bankers for the country's woes.
hawksley... you might well have a labour poster strapline there . BYE BYE DAVE 2015 FACT. It did make me laugh.
I haven't listened to PMQ's yet but I'll brace myself. I'll switch off if IDS is on. After that long in power to continue to blame the previous party looks very weak. He bought the house and the boiler is playing up so he is still blaming the previous owners 5+ yrs later. Well I guess Cam is thinking about Labour alot! - he isn't creative is he.
You know how pregnant women's nails grow stronger and very long! to equip them to protect the baby! following birth (excuse the labour! analogy); I think Ed needs to grow his nails and have his teeth sharpened.

Brown selling the Gold when he did was a huge mistake with hindsight. It went on a 12 year rise afterwards (though it is declining again this year). However, he bought Euros which also climbed over the same period though not as much as gold. The loss was about £2million. Compare that with the £27billion that the Conservative Government lost on Black Wednesday.
