Which Paint Is Best For A Conservatory Exterior Please?
6 Answers
It is made of wood and is south facing, it is already painted green but needs doing again. Is it o.k. to use ordinary satin finish paint or do I need something special on account of the sun it gets, (sometimes!!) but I don't want a high gloss finish. I thought the paint used years ago was Sadalin but can't find it now, all they seem to make are wood varnishes and preservatives, no colours and I still want to keep it green.

Hi Rosy, you will find that Dulux do weathershiel d paints in 1000ml and 750 ml sizes as well as the bigger ones. Have a look at the link below. Also if you go to B & Q or similar they can actually mix the colour you want in the finish you want while you wait....

Thank you both for replying, and thank you for the link mazie. As I thought, Sadolin only make wood stains and varnish in wood colours, don't know where I got the idea that it was Sadolin already on the wood. I looked at the Weathershield shedman, thank you,but they seem to only do 2.5L sizes which is far too much paint for quite a small job, I was hoping to get a smaller size if possible, but I do like the Buckingham green. Thanks again, rosy
