Long Goodbye - So Sad ........

I was a HUGE fan of the Thompson Twins in the 80's and there's a song they did, that's not very well known called, "Long Goodbye".



Now even though I knew most of the lyrics, I never really paid much notice, although I recently found out what they meant.
Alannah Currie saw her mother die and lost her child due to a miscarriage - both on the same day.
First line of the lyrics:

I have seen my future die
My whole past as well
That hurricane she knew my name
And tonight just feels like hell

Such a beautiful song that almost brings a tear to my eye when I listen to it and think about its meaning :(
