The Hereafter

Met the Minister the other day, we had a chat and he said
"My son, You should be thinking about the hereafter"
I said "But Minister I do every morning "
I go downstairs then I go back up stairs.
I stand there and I say to myself “What am I here after?”

A younger man would say to his girlfriend Do you believe in the hereafter?

When she sounded puzzled and asked for an explanation he told her If you're not here after what I'm here after, you'll be here long after I'm gone
