Tesco Parking Fine?

Hi
We have a Tescos with a large car park which is covered by cameras, and there are signs which state that if you stay for longer than 3 hours you get fined. Fair enough. However there is a second car park the other side of the road from Tescos which does not have a sign up stating that is owned by Tesco, nor does it state that there is a 3 hour maximum. Where do I stand legally with this? We have been sent 2 fine notices which I think shouldnt be payable as there is no warning sign, even though apparently there are cameras. Are we on solid ground legally to refuse to pay?

take photos proving that there are no signs, before they quickly realise and go and ut them up, and you may have a case
The fact is that somebody has noted your reg number and tracked you down to your home address.

I assume by camera.

Perhaps the sign has been stolen or blown down.

I would gather the evidence and either go to the CAB office or for peace of mind have a fixed fee interview with a solicitor.

Contact TESCO at there head office in Chesent and ask for there legal department, that may help
