Best Shampoo and/or Conditioner
13 Answers
What is your personal preference on shampoo and conditioner? What would you say is the best NON - salon shampoo and/or conditioner you've bought?
I've got long dyed hair and have tried a lot as not a lot live up to my expectations. But have just bought Aussie shampoo and conditioner. I got the one called colour mate and it's quite possibly the best I have ever used.
Leaves the hair tangle free without weighing it down with too much conditioner which some brands do. And the smell is soo lush. Very natural and faint, not over poweringly artificial smelling.

I use Tresemme for coloured hair, though I do love the shampoo and conditioner you buy from the hairdressers. The trouble is it's so expensive. I do have some in ready to take on my holidays as I think it's really good. Other than that I do find that after a while my hair 'gets used' to a shampoo and I have to change brands for a while.
Spudqueen - I soo get what you mean about your hair getting used to the shampoo. I change brand every time I've used one up to get some variety.
Personally I can't stand Pantene. It smells like pond water and it makes my hair even worse to try and brush than if I'd used nothing at all.
Not keen on Tresemme either, it's just got this cheap feeling about it.
LOL @ Lajohn.... that's hilarious

I really like Head and Shoulders, since I used to suffer from dandruff when I was at school. The dandruff went away and I decided to use different shampoos and conditioners, but my hair never felt as soft and clean.
I switched back to Head and Shoulders Colour Care and it's great stuff and not as expensive as others. My hair always smells nice too.
