Good morning everyone - cool and quiet here this morning, Sunday turned into a lovely day, maybe we'll get lucky with this one too, but the wet stuff comes back later in the week ..... it's been a pretty wet winter for us, a good one !!

Would you believe 25 players selected 1 & 4 thus collecting 3 points for their tally, 2 selected Court Shoe and The Special Mention goes to STRIX, who prides himself on being awkward, the sole selector for Steel Grey.

The question has been raised regarding people's names - there is NO rule on KM, you may put whatever you choose as your matches, but it's unlikely Kate would use this as her matched pair. I've been doing this for some time now, and I truly don't recall this happening ... she may use a person's surname to form a match, as we saw today, but if she had paired Abraham with Lincoln, I would have been quite surprised .... having said that, now watch out for next week !!!!!! I'll be the one with egg on my face However the names of colours, butterflies, birds, trades, you name it, it could come up as a pair.

Hope that clarifies the situation.

As far as I recall, the closest that KM has come to having a name for a linked pair is ' Earl Grey' which she has had at least twice.
