Mm Links Results August 2013 Week 4

This week's game has now closed and I can reveal that 'Baron Brian' (aka beejay1124) had the following links in mind for you to discover:

So many to choose from but with only four correct ones to find, it was not surprising that scores were lower this week.

Firstly, a warm welcome to new player 'Arksided' who failed to score, but better luck next weekend.

The PENNY WHISTLE was blown almost immediately by BigMac and cliffyg was in time for the bonus as well. Surprisingly, only one later player was so musically inclined.

Roslyn251254 is usually the first out of The Shrubbery but maybe it was just as well that she waited to claim the LAST POST. Cliffyg, Psybbo & Aquagility were also in time for the bonus, so 2 points each.

There was then a break, pause, halt, stoppage, interruption, rest, lull, stay, respite, gap, interval, interlude, intermission, wait, delay, hesitation, hiatus, breach, opening, rift, space, void, chasm, blank, discontinuity, interruption, lapse, suspension, aperture, discontinuance, lacuna, cessation, breather, breathing space, let-up, time out as players puzzled over what the remaining links could be.

Just after lunch (13:33), Ulysses100 woke up on a (Washington) nudist beach to discover a BLACK BEAR. As the only one to do so, that puts him in contention for the 'Hotshot' Award.

The solution of the final link obviously required players to burn the midnight oil to overcome their mental block . . . and it worked for Ulysses100. He became the only discoverer of OFFICE BLOCK and became another contender for the 'Hotshot' Award.

Along with those two contenders, we also had a double hitter on full bonus points and so I am awarding the honour to that lucky player.

Yes Seekeerz - it is on his avatar! I'm surprised it wasn't more popular as an option.
