are "yo" and "whassup?" still used as greetings among youngsters today and, if not, what's the current equivalent? In case you're wondering, no I'm not trying to get down with the kids!

Most of my friends say ' Hi' or 'Hey' or ' How's it going?'. Not sure that's very helpful really but I can;t think of anything unique that 'youngsters' really say that 'oldsters' don't:)
