We are , courtesy of my daughter, there was lots of stuff left yesterday, like roasties, veg and Turkey ,so after flopping around in our comfies all day ,we will be eating around 2, I might even have a glass of vino collapso, yesterday and today is a day for forgetting the C word, there's plenty time for that in the new year :0)
My daughter in law is making scrumble today. Its all the leftovers - meat, poultry, veg etc cooked together in a large casserole dish. Sounds strange but it's absolutely delicious.
Today is traditionally the ‘big ham’, salad stuff, little potatoes and freshly baked (made by someone else) little bread rolls - my family would disown me if we had anything different. On the plus side, it practically cooks itself and it’s my favourite too.
A bit more than usual Sqad as my stepson wasn't able to travel here from Norfolk due to the going fro T2 to T4 but all was good,we set up Zoom at the dinner table so we chatted to him quite happily , he had a few cans of beer and we raised our glasses to him and absent friends we've lost this year , all very genteel it was
