Found this on NZ Herald report,

Kaitaia is "the highlight of no-one's trip to New Zealand",

what does it mean?

Is it good or not?

Presumably if no-one would name it as a highlight, it must be bad ?

it is not. I went there once and I can only agree.
No it means that it is bad.

presumably what people call a load of s+++e
A bit like saying if I go there again it'll be too soon.
in fairness to the poor Kaitaiaites, their town is not bad or sh!te; it is just an undistinguished hamlet of no interest to tourists.
