AB News Bigot-o-meter
Which phrases or sentiments do you see spouted most frequently on this site?
Give us your suggestions. Once we've come up with a list, post any sightings of them on this thread (doesn't have to be the exact wording, just the gist). Then we'll tally them up at the end of the week/month and see which one wins.
I'll start.
"Bye bye Britain/I'm going to emigrate."
"The state of the country makes me cry."
"One rule for them, another for us."
"Bring back capital punishment."
"I'm just saying what other people daren't admit."
"It's political correctness gone mad."
"That doesn't make me a racist."
(followed by)
"So what if I am a racist? See if I care."
"We need National Service."
"I blame the EU."
Any more?

This thread is in my favourites.
In fifteen years' time...
In twenty years' time...
In thirty years' time....
In fifty years' time...
Are a few that stick in my mind. Usually closely followed by a prediction of nigh-on apocalyptic doom.
Giant European superstate is another hyperbole that comes up sometimes.
For a more left-wing gross exaggeration, there's also a kind of everything is the upper class' fault sentiment which sometimes pops up (though far less often to be fair).
Minority in our own country is another exaggeration (I hesitate to call it a hyperbole because I'm not sure how deliberate an exaggeration it is).

Several sightings of the race comments mentioned are here - including a delightfully-timed use of the 'So what if I'm a racist?' line.
