Divorce -unreasonable behaviour

hi -posting for a friend - what constitutes 'unreasonable behaviour' with regards to divorce laws / surely one persons idea of unreasonable behaviour might be very different from another - therefore there must be guidelines surely?

thanks for that link dotty - Mmm - difficult one as I know the circumstances - one partner walked all over - expected to do all household chores, pay bills and run SO's business -expected to and never thanked - then criticised for not contributing to household income - how do the courts look at the evidence - as surely it is all heresay - he said this -she said that - he did that - all denials - what sort of evidence could you possibly have for unreasonable behaviour if its behind closed doors?

It can be difficult, but lots of people do use this provision. Suggest your friend needs to consult a family law solicitor - possibly on a one off free or low cost basis if such a service exists in the area - local CAB may know.
