Is she trying to take over from Laura Kuenssberg? Is this what we pay the licence fee for? For god's sake woman give it a rest. Constant interrupting and talking over the PM. LEt him get on with his job and stop the bloodshed in Ukraine.

did you try the brightness button on the Citroen Van?
Its what the BBC do, interrupt, its why I never watch the BBC anymore.

TTT to be honest I've not set foot outside to try!
It is not just the bbc

All tv journalists do it lately

It is because the public have grown tired of all politicians flim-flaming a direct question with verbal diarrhoea so the journos probably have the director in their ear pressing the interviewee to answer the direct question put to them

Look at gmtv
They are no different
*flim-flamming not flaming
Understandable typo, given the prevalence of pants on fire.
Stickybottle is quite correct.....^^^^^

Politicians just don't answer the question, much the same on AB really.

Not a Freudian slip either !
"Let him get on with his job and stop the bloodshed in Ukraine."

Just what do you believe it is that Johnson can possibly do to have any effect on Putin's mindset?
I have no idea what the OP even means. Those names mean nothing to me.
Indeed politicians don't answer the questions answered .

The health secretary was in the Midlands recently (which has the longest waiting list for tests / procedures in the country ) .

He was asked the question of what is the government doing to deal with it .

All we got was that NHS workers are doing a great job .

Question repeated .
Same answer .

Yes we can all agree with that .

But answer the question for Pete's sake .
Waffling around the issue is of no comfort to those on the waiting lists
Unfortunately it isn't happening just with politicians these days. Jeremy Vine interrupts everybody, studio guest or somebody on the phone, it makes no difference. Even the doyen of radio 2, Ken Bruce was guilty recently.
The problem is, Vulcan, that only so much airtime can be allotted. The interviewers wouldn't be doing their jobs properly if they allowed the interviewees to ramble on and on without actually answering the question.
MPs (of all flavours) must all have been issued orders from on high to treat every interview as a Party Political Broadcast.
Watching her this morning, I thought she did a good job. But Boris spouting same old mantra, I am trying to save Ukraine. Yeah right.
I will miss Laura Kuenssberg in that job. I find her absolutely excellent.
Give him stick Laura......he deserves it.
I watched most of the interview and though my she was fine to be honest
As others have said if interviewees interrupt because they are impatient then that’s bad but often it’s because they feel the question is being evaded.
Sometimes they simply have to move in to a different question
She was great. Really enjoyed that none interview.
Boris’ inability to answer an easy question was very funny.
Set her on Patel next :-)
This link shows why he needed to be pressed

Refused to be drawn on whether public money would be used to pay the Prince Andrew libel cost and could not keep a straight face whilst doing so :
