I don't know if anyone watched QT on Thursday. Lord Rose, Chairman of ASDA, said that immigrants have always been welcome into this country, and that his parents were immigrants. What he didn't say, nor did anyone else on the panel or in the audience, was, that his parents didn't enter the UK via a rowing boat accross the Channel illegally.
The govt will not stop illegal immigrants from entering the UK unless there is a strong deterent. Targetting the gangs back in their own countries won't work because when you get rid of one gang, another takes its' place. Just like drug gangs in this country. The only way to stop illegal immigrants is for them to realise that if they want to get into this country illegally, they WILL die. Put them into open air holding camps and leave them. Like the Russians did with German POWs.

Has anyone noticed the change of reporting with this issue? These people now are called migrants or asylum seekers, not illegals or illegal immigrants. We've got to get people to have sympathy with them, so let's start by softening the terminology.
