I've never believed in Capital Punishment myself but if I were one of those parents I'd want to kill her with my bare hands. I just don't know how you would ever get over something like that. It would torture you until your dying day.

Her parents live right by my parents. Literally a 2-minute walk away.
well you weren't see her in the neighbourhood, probably never again.
Question Author
I hope she never sees the light of day again, DT. The pain and suffering she has caused is too much to comprehend.
Damn savage.....etc
She can't be sane, surely???
Question Author
There's something amiss, LadyB. No normal person would be capable of inflicting such suffering on such tiny, defenceless little babies.
I would also suggest insanity.....I also feel for the parents of the cases that the jury couldn't reach agreement on, six of them wasn't it...?
I was hoping that she was not guilty. I am stunned by her actions.
Question Author
I think those little handwritten notes they found were pretty incriminating.

She's obviously deranged.

Those poor parents have the utter horror of their precious babies' murders to live with for the rest of their lives.
Question Author
Sorry, DT, yes, six cases they could not reach a verdict on. They are unable to move on - having said that, I would never be able to move on in life, verdict or no verdict.

These were such senseless acts. I can't get my head around it. :-(
Absolutely heartbreaking. This evil woman deserves the strongest sentence the law can give, preferably a whole-life term with never a chance of parole.
Question Author
I couldn't agree more, L-i K. It's the least her numerous victims deserve.
Judge has indicated that he is considering a full life term.

On the six where the jury could not reach a verdict, the CPS will consider whether there should be a re-trial.
BM, can you see any judge giving any other sentence than full life term?
Her life behind bars will be intolerable.......and many people will believe that to be just desserts.
Yet another one who wouldn't come up from the cells to hear the verdict. She should be made to come up for the sentencing.
Question Author
Too arrogant to stand there and face-up to what she's done, methinks.
Crime is not my field, but the number of convictions - 7 murders and 6 attempts (and attempts attract the same sentence as the full offence), the fact that they were on children, the fact that they were premeditated are all within the criteria. I would also suggest that fact that she was trusted to care for those babies aggravates matters. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a whole life order.
My friends and I wondered why she was not in court, why should she be given a choice ?
