MM & KM Links Nov 2008 [Week 3]

Another week has gone by with very few MM Linkers scoring on both weeks in the reign of Sir Strix the Obscure. As a result, there are several AB-ers on the maximum score of four points with several others close on their heels! I can honestly say that Sir Strix is a little perturbed as to find the magic formula to reverse the trend. Will he be successful tomorrow? Could be!

I know that the Shrubbery Squad will be there ~ ready and waiting for a change in fortune. The launch opens at 08.45 tomorrow, with a mini novel to read before the MM link words are disclosed at 09.00 (sharp) and Sir Strix sets his third set of four words to be linked by fair means or foul!

You need also to look out for the sister game (called KM Links) that kicks off around 07.00am depending on whoever is first to solve the Herculis Crossword in The Daily Telegraph! Look out for gen2, who will be standing in for seekeerz (from the Land of Oz) over the month of November. He takes responsibility to process the predictions and maintain the League Table for the KM Links.

Me? I'm crofter, keeper of the scores for MM Links for my sins and I process the predictions and maintain the League Tables for the parallel game.

Good luck for tomorrow, when you will have to tune into another round when challenging Sir Strix. Will there be a sea change? Or will you be sunk "full fathom five"?

well, here I am - a rare Friday near to my computer (another few weeks before i can move back in) and where is everyone else? watching Children in Need I suppose! Mind you, knowing the Shrubbery lot, they are probably all out raising funds for said Good Cause. If so - well done. I shall retreat to my seat by the telly!!

Dustybun, you are not alone, I "the Obscure" (title courtesy of crofter) am keeping a watching eye on the Shrubbery. The Lady Strix is away but I still have six people for supper to cook for tonight so I will only be popping, occasionally, into the undergrowth.
